On a fine day in August I was wandering with my family along the bank of Seine. On the other side of the river towered Notre Dame Cathedral.
What caught my eye though was the artist, of which there are many here, painting this beautiful woman's portrait, unusually starting with her eyes.

I took this photo at the Tropicana nightclub in Havana Cuba. It is an outdoor nightclub and they make extensive use of fog machines lit by high intensity lights. There were also star like lights scattered in the background. The photo was a time exposure on a mini tripod on the table. The dancers had just finished segment of the show and were standing still with their backs to the audience silhouetted buy the brightly lit fog.
